Alice in Wonderland

It is came to my attention to gugel about Alice Lindell-the origin character of Alice in Wonderland when I read about Oxford Wonderland Tour.

Yes, Oxford is the birth place Alice in Wonderland's story.The character-Alice is taken from Alice Lindell, the daughter of the Dean at Christ Church college-Henry Lindell.She and her two sisters have a close relationship with Dodgson (the book's writer) who tend to be the Math lecturer there.

The story began when all of them rowed in a boat at River Thames.To make the girls cheer up in the journey, Dodgson create a story about a young girl who fell in the rabbit hole.Alice Lindell love it and ask Dodgson to write the manuscript of the story.

It took two year later when Dodson finally feel bored with the job and took seriously on the manuscript. He added a new character and fantasy to make the story more interesting.The imagination is came from the Oxford and people around Alice itself.

For example, the version of White Rbbit wear a formal dress code is Alice father. The white rabbit always look at the watch as it always five minutes late-same as Alice fathers. While Dodo-the bird character is from Dodgson name-Do-do-Dodgson.

The door on the left side of the high table in the dining hall leads to a very streep staircase is sid to be a version of 'rabbit hole' that Alice fall down.

There’s a little door underneath a large tree. The door is the one that Alice goes through after growing and shrinking (and the door that Alice’s father-the white rabbit-went through everyday while checking his watch because he was always late), and the chestnut tree is the one the Cheshire Cat is seen grinning from.

As Dodgson is a Math lecturer, he tend to use the logic in the story.

In chapter 1, "Down the Rabbit-Hole", in the midst of shrinking, Alice waxes philosophic concerning what final size she will end up as, perhaps "going out altogether, like a candle."; this pondering reflects the concept of a limit.
In chapter 2, "The Pool of Tears", Alice tries to perform multiplication but produces some odd results: "Let me see: four times five is twelve, and four times six is thirteen, and four times seven is—oh dear! I shall never get to twenty at that rate!" This explores the representation of numbers using different bases and positional numeral systems: 4 x 5 = 12 in base 18 notation, 4 x 6 = 13 in base 21 notation, and 4 x 7 could be 14 in base 24 notation. Continuing this sequence, going up three bases each time, the result will continue to be less than 20 in the corresponding base notation. (After 19 the product would be 1A, then 1B, 1C, 1D, and so on.)
In chapter 5, "Advice from a Caterpillar", the Pigeon asserts that little girls are some kind of serpent, for both little girls and serpents eat eggs. This general concept of abstraction occurs widely in many fields of science; an example in mathematics of employing this reasoning would be in the substitution of variables.
In chapter 7, "A Mad Tea-Party", the March Hare, the Mad Hatter, and the Dormouse give several examples in which the semantic value of a sentence A is not the same value of the converse of A (for example, "Why, you might just as well say that 'I see what I eat' is the same thing as 'I eat what I see'!"); in logic and mathematics, this is discussing an inverse relationship.
Also in chapter 7, Alice ponders what it means when the changing of seats around the circular table places them back at the beginning. This is an observation of addition on the ring of integers modulo N.

Honestly, I had watched the latest Alice in Wonderland movie-and it's kinda boring for me. But after googling all about Alice in Wonderland, i realise that it is just not about a little girl fantasy..it is also about modern Math, human behaviour and polic hipocracy (refer to the Queen).And I am looking forward for the book now.Not the 10 pages of tiny book with many colourful character in it. But the real one...

Death Penalty

I had visited Napier prison yesterday. New knowledge that I got-NZ had removed death penalty and the last execution was 1957.

Two-thirds of all countries in the world (139 countries) have abolished the death penalty.Europe now is a free zone of death penalty.One-third of all countries (58 countries) still retain the death penalty. US,Middle East and Asia basically are those countries.The highest execution (2008)- China followed by Iran, Saudi Arabia,Pakistan and US (sources)

Saudi Arabia,Iran and Yemen are the only countries that perform death penalty to the youngsters.The boys/girls may be put at the jail first for few years until they reach 18.And by that age they may be executed to death. What dissapointed me here-girls who had been raped also will be executed to death..huh..

Working holidays

We, Malaysian live in typical way. We go to school, aim to be in the best IPTA/IPTS and find the best work that we could. We may don’t know what our real interest is and just take the course that is said to have a ‘hot’ job.

As we grew older, we compare ourselves with other people – what kind of work we do-what car do we have- how many figures for our salary-etc. Maybe we compare all that because that’s the only tools we have to measure achievement. As we don’t know what achievement really mean to us.

As the time goes by, we feel tired. Tired for work.Tired to give a try. Tired to think what really matters to us. And suddenly, we stop, take a deep breath and confuse with path shall we go. Continue at the same direction or follow other direction.

Travelling is always be my passion. A part of it to see the colour of the world..part of it just to get out from the box.

While doing the working holidays, I met many travellers. Impress with all those young travellers girl who travel alone. At the young age they know what they want. Have a short break by travelling before pursue their studies. Use the time to think what they want. Grab the experiences while they are still young. And I’m compare myself at the age 17 with those girls. How much I envy them.

At first, I think our culture is just different with them. Our religion too. But, put aside those reason-there are the reason why we stuck and keep doing the same thing. We need to be exposed to do something that we are not used to do. We need to be brave and not just education-work oriented.

The thing is..time could not stop us. But it can be a limit for us on what we want to do.

It’s never too late to do anything..but it could be late to do everything.

But, as long as we know what we want and we do it.
It will be our achievement.

Really hope in future there are more and more young people doing this.
Rather than just follow the same waves as other people had.

The right word is to say that..
Everyone should know what they want

My Sister Keeper

Last month, I bought My Sister Keeper book.
I read the book and I cry.

Yesterday,I bought My Sister Keeper DVD.
I watched the movie and I cry.

Here a short synopsis taken from the back of the book.

Anna is not sick, but she might as well be. By age thirteen, she has undergone countless surgeries, transfusions, and shots so that her older sister, Kate, can somehow fight the leukemia that has plagued her since childhood. The product of preimplantation genetic diagnosis, Anna was conceived as a bone marrow match for Kate - a life and a role that she has never questioned… until now. Like most teenagers, Anna is beginning to question who she truly is. But unlike most teenagers, she has always been defined in terms of her sister - and so Anna makes a decision that for most would be unthinkable… a decision that will tear her family apart and have perhaps fatal consequences for the sister she loves.

It have different ending between book version and movie version.
Books more dramatic and sad instead.
But I like the movie version either as I can't just help the feeling on wondering why Anna should be died..

My name is Khan.
N I am not terrorist.

My first Hindi movie at cinema.
It's a beautiful movie (less song,no dance);seems that the production is from Hollywood and not Bollywood.
I love the story.I love the message.
N I do hope that the message will be spread throughout the world.

The movie is about a journey of muslim men named Khan who had autisme to meet President of US;to tell him that his name is Khan and he is not terrorist and to tell that his step child (died killed by the students at schools) also not a terrorist.

While watching the movie,I suddenly remembered something during my previous trip at Viantiane,Laos.At a Pakistan stall where we met another traveller-one from Pakistan and the other is from Morocco.Not sure how but suddenly we came to the heavy topic.

Pakistan men: If I ever meet J***** people,I will kill them.I do not want to shake hand with them and do not want to sit near them.
Morocco men : It is not what our prophet teach us,it's not in Quran either.

The Pakistan men refuse to listen what this Morocco men said and he believe that it is his responsibility with the name of religion.

N there's another part in the movie-where Khan's mother taught him..

There are no Muslim and no Hindu.
There just a good and bad person.
That's what make us different.

N am not telling you that P person is bad person.

It's your heart counting it all.

Vol lelaki kejutkan bebudak laki dan vols pompuan kejutkan bebudak pompuan.Ader yang senang bangun ader yang liat.Harusla tuh...kul 330 kitorang terjah.Sebelum balik,bebudak nih buat special performance for kitorang.If Salam ader tepuk semangat..diorang pun ader tepuk sendiri.

Program berbuka puasa di Annur Maisarah.Ni bebudak lelaki sumer.Lepas berbuka puasa,solat terawih dan bacer yassin dengan bebudak nih.Suara imam nyer sangatlah sedap.Sangat salute dengan adik yang jadi imam nih.

Day 2: Halong Bay trip

Venue: Halong Bay tour trip

This is the third services we booked from Hien.Halong Bay day tour trip.Van took us from the hotel. It's raining day and our van is full of tourists from various countries.

1) Thanh Dong Humanity Center
We depart from Hanoi around 08.00. After about 2 hours driving, we stopped at the Humanity Center.It is a place where local people who are the victims of the Vietnam war gathered and worked there.Here, they sewing their products and sell to the tourist. Their handcraft product such as paintings,clothes and handbags.

2) Halong Bay
We arrive here at noon. Halong Bay is one of the World’s Natural Heritage recognized by UNESCO.Hanoi must go places-it features more than one thousand awesome limestone karsts and islands of various sizes and shapes.

According to the legend,the bay was actually created when an immense dragon plunged to Earth here before recorded history. Its mighty tail carved the great stone seabed violently before the creature flew away to the place where legends are born.

The landscape very beautiful. With the boat ala-ala Pirate of The Caribbean, we enjoyed the ride very much.Food also served in the boat.We just ate fruit and take plain rice eat with my serunding as they serve pork as well in our menu.You can also take two days trip to Halong Bay and sleep in this boat.

We visit the spectacular Heaven Palace cave, crammed with stalagtites and stalagmites. The cave is so wow beautiful. The cave imposed with light colours to show clearly the image that had been build by the stalagtites and stalagmites.Starge image can be seen such as birds, flowers, horse and human life.

Legend has it that a beautiful young lady named May (cloud), caught the eye of the Dragon Prince and he fell in love with her. They married and happily live ever after with their 100 children. Scenes such as their wedding ceremony have been seemingly fossilized in the grotto.

3) Tien Son handicraft Village

Mostly similar like Thang Dong Humanity Center but this one more commercial and fully for business purpose.I just bought book tag here.

Van send us back to our hostel.This is indeed funny memories. The van stop in front of our hostel but we didn't notice it.We keep walking till the end of the road trying to find our hostel.Banyak gakla kitorang kutuk van tu sebab tak hantar kitorang betul2 dpn hostel.Well,not long before that,we realised that we actually at in front of the hostel.The van drop us there-it just us who didn't notice it.Hmm...biasalah.Tak sesat memang tak sah.

Natrah

Natrah or Maria Hertogh was born on 24 Mac 1937 at Bandung. During World War 2, her father had been arrested by Japan. Mrs. Hertogh send the baby to Aminah bt Mohamed ; best friend of Nor Louise who is Mrs. Hertough mom. The action taken is to save the baby life; as Japanese did not like English people. Mrs. Hertough then back to Netherland.While for Aminah and Natrah, from Bandung they went to Kemamam, Terengganu. Aminah said it is a need at that time because the war getting worse and it is for the baby safety that she ran from Bandung to Kemamam.

After World War 2 end, Mr. Hertough back to Netherland and reunited with him family. They start searched for Natrah at that time.Both Aminah and Natrah had been traced at the kampong they live in. Aminah had been trapped by the Hertough tricks to bring the child to Singapore.

The High Court stated that the custody of Maria be entitled to the Hertoghs.
As Aminah and Maria exited the court via the backdoor, a car from the Consulate was waiting to take Maria away. Maria refused to enter the car and clung on to Aminah, both shouting in Malay that they would kill themselves rather than be separated.
Aminah then make a plead with her lawyer Prof. Dr. Ahmad Ibrahim. They won.

Aminah afraid that it will be further attempt by Hertough so she decided a marriage between Natrah and Mansor Adabi. Natrah is 13 and Mansor 22 at that time. However, they are not living together. Mansor said they will be living together when Natrah at the age of 21.

Aminah did not discuss about the marriage with her lawyer. This is not a right move as a day after the marriage, a lawyer delivered letter for them to return Natrah.

The hearing began 4 months later. Hertough won. The marriage was invalid because Natrah is 13 years old and Dutch law stated that minimum age is 16. If the marriage is held in Malaya or Natrah was pregnant,probably the wedding can be saved. But as the marriage took place in Singapore which practice the Common Law; it is definitely failed to save the wedding.

When policewomen came to take Natrah away, she wept and clung to Aminah and Mansoor. Aminah fainted on the spot and a doctor standing by had to attend to her. Mansoor promised that he would carry on the legal fight. Thus Natrah allowed herself to be brought away into a car. The car delivered Natrah to the Roman Catholik Convent. Newspapers keep published the picture of Natrah surrounded with symbols of Christian faith. The Muslim feel offended with pictures and jihad as a final resort. This is a start moment of the riot.

The power of media.Coz of not sensitive to the people religion and cultures, the riot happened and many people died.End of the riot, 18 people were killed, among whom were seven Europeans or Eurasians, nine rioters shot by the police or military, 173 were injured, many of them seriously, 119 vehicles were damaged, and at least two buildings were set on fire.5 people were suspected to be the mastermind of the riots and sentenced to death.Tunku Abdul rahman saved them.The death sentenced change to life imprisonment.

Natrah was bring back to Netherland.Policewoman escorted her everyday even when she want to go school.

Natrah husband still keep trying to get back Natrah. He wrote a letter to her until one day he received the letter from Natrah saying that she changed her religion. Mansor upset and married another woman.

Natrah then married with her best friend. Together they got 10 children.Dutch documentary “The time just stool still’ had make discovery about Natrah life. Include in this documentary was Natrah ex husband ;Mansoor who are lawyer and teacher living happily with his wife. Natrah so pissed off with the news. She made a plan to kill her husband. Her children heard about this and inform the police. Natrah was arrested later.

Natrah then married with another man who she met at the restaurant. Natrah life is not easy since she was taking to the Netherland. She was forced to forget her religion, her mother and her husband. She was under control by a police for a few years. Riot at Singapore who killed many people also make Natrah trauma. She married but live with a hard life.

She died at the age of 72 of leukemia.

Amazing Trip

Just coming back from 2 weeks trip to Hanoi-Viantiane-Luang Prabang-Chiang Mai-Bangkok-Krabi.N the feeling is superb.Plan to do another trip-perhaps one month trip for next year.Maybe alone or two-three friends just like what I recently did for this trip.

Backpacking travelling open my eyes to the outside world. Expect the unexpected when you are on travelling. Laos really relax and warm country, Vietnam the citizen really kind,Bangkok really modern city and Chiang Mai just amazing.

Backpack; it is still kejadian 'paranormal' in Malaysia but for outside,it's norm. We met many interesting peoples;and most of them on trip for 2-3 months. I guess our trip was the shortest one.

I arrived to Malaysia early this morning and took a cab.

Arrange your own budget and itenary..it's all on your hand whether to make it expensive or inexpensive trip.Tu baru sorang..belum yang lain lagi.

N when they heard that you are travelling alone or just two-three friends,there are two kinds of nodes:

Which one is yours?

N from this trip, I knew that Malaysia is not a favourite destination for the tourist. They prefer go to Cambodia-Thailand-Laos-Vietnam-Singapore-Bali.And not Malaysia.

Feel like duta kecil lak as we are trying to impress them about Malaysia. But to be truth, our tourism is not offering something strong to attract them coming here.What we have is same like what our neighbour have.We just win in term of multi cultural races but for the content for it-we still behind.

Those who plan to do the backpack but keep worried about the security-disease-food-money..well,keep the worries aside and believe that you can do it. Enjoy the life and excitement of being travellers.The feeling is great.

Trip 1: A day trip to Hanoi

Flight at 630 am. Took a cab to KL Sentral at 330am and arrived there at 400am.

Took bus LCCT and straightly went there.Elly already at the airport.We met there and check-in. Time nih kes H1N1 baru nak bermula. Pakai mask yang dibekalkan buk Elly dalam flight.

A journey began.

From KL, we booked few services from the travel agency. You can contact Hien for more information if you wish to use her services.

One of the services-airport pickup.The cab bring us to our hostel-Youth International Hostel.Our room consist of three beds, have TV,aircond and kettle. The best part-internet services free! Harusla masing-masing use the free services till end of minute there.The hotel also offered few packages which quite cheaper as well.

After having our breakfast, manggi and roti with serunding,we continued our exploration.
With the map, we just walked from one road to another-exploring the town.We met Malaysian people who work in Hanoi in front of Halal food.The word 'halal' is in the map, so it much easier to find the location although you are new there.

Based on our findings,most buildings here got the inspiration from French colonial.The building build closely to each other,tall and thin and have balcony.The road so hectic where u can heard motorcycle hon their bike for the whole day. The Ngoc Son temple build with the famous red bridge on a small island in the Hoan Kiem lake.It's a special lake as the legend of Hanoi began here.King Ly Thai To return the magic sword to a holy turtle on this lake that brought him victory against the Chinese Ming Dynasty.The lake rename as "Hoan Kiem" (Lake of Returned Sword).

It is a legend with nobody knows it true or not. However, until 1967, the giant turtle had been caught in this lake which remind people with the legend. Unfortunately the specimen died and is now on display at Ngoc Son Temple which is build on this lake.The legend also had been presented at water puppet show.

It's raining outside, we were tired and inside a dark theather watched the show.Yes I am sleep for few minutes.The show about 45 minutes and have many scenes which is not related to each other-Hanoi culture-fishing-harvest festival-lion dance-dragon dance-legend of the Restored Sword-etc..The shows speaks kinda like the chinese opera.Gune suara dalam yang nyaring dengan tanda nada yang panjang but of course in Viatnamese languange.To those luv the cultural experience, this is recommend for you.

Tickets are sold in 2 classes-First class VND 60,000 and second class VND 40,000.Pay VND 15000 for camera and VND 60,000 for capturing a video.

We asked the travel services to buy ticket for us.The ticket always sold out and basically people need to book advance to watch the show. But you know what,it actually can buy online;much more cheaper if buy online.

Nisa Restaurant-Halal restaurant

Location: 5 minutes walking from Hanoi Water Puppet theatre.
The only halal restaurant we find here.It's a pleasure when you met Malaysian people.Have a prayer room for you to pray. Not hard to find this restaurant as the word 'halal' is in the map.

There's a lot along the road. Fridge magnet, tshirt,keychain,etc. Please bargain before you agreed with the prices.

-Stayed at Regency Hotel.Located near Selesa Hotel.
-The hotel also 10 minutes away from the night market which sold various delicious food. Seriously,sume makanan sedap.Biasanya pasar malam kan ader jer food yg best dan tk best.Ni sumer best.
-Rileks,swimming
-PD become more cleaner from the last day I went there a few years ago.

Day 2
-Swimming at 8am.My niece and nephew already prepared to go for swimming at 7am.
-11am-we went to Malacca.
-Jalan-jalan around Bandar Hilir,Malacca. Too many people at AFamosa.Maybe because it's weekend.
-Visit Jail Musium near Afamosa.hmm..I wonder why they show Pudu Jail info at here.

Another volunteering programme initiated by the volunteers. The programme purposely to create the awareness of hygiene to the Orang Asli community. Thanks to the supporter team-volunteers, medical team, dentist and also sponsors for the contribution given.

1000 – Medical team (Prostar KL-lead by Haji Zainuddin) and Dentist Team (lead by Dr Nurul from HUKM) arrived.Dentist team checked kids teeth and taught them how to brush the teeth. Medical team gave short briefing regarding environment cleanliness and have a simple medical check up for the villagers.

This is the third time RFL had been held in Malaysia. I do not know much about this programme. My limited understanding just that RFL it’s kind of fundraising events organized by cancer society. It’s looks fun as we are not going to sleep or if wanna to- can sleep around the tracks or in tents and participate those exciting activities that had been planned.

Why I’m joining the events?

Well..bile lagi nak tido berbumbungkan langit yang cerah, rumput yang menghijau sambil mengira bintang-bintang di langit (auta-mlm tuh tk der bintang).Ape lagi kalo kawan anda membawa gitar dan anda bersama teman-teman baik anda hentam sahajalah menyanyi apa sahaja lagu. Dan adakah ada malam yang tidak membenarkan anda tidur secara semulajadi dan anda dapat berjalan dan berjoging di balapan pada pukul 3 atau 4 am dengan selamatnya..

Yup..reason yang sungguh tidak praktikal.

But I’m also questioning-why Relay? Why at stadium? Why we need to keep circling the track? So back home, I’m gooogle to know more about RFL.

Relay For Life is a fundraising event of the American Cancer Society, and is now held in many other countries. It is an overnight event designed to spread awareness of cancer prevention, treatments and cures, celebrate survivorship and raise money for research to find more cures for cancer. Relay has developed into an overnight event where people bring tents and sleep out around the tracks. It is truly a great event where people of all ages come out to bring the community together and reminice of their loved ones who have passed from this terrible disease and honor those who have survived while raising money to fight for a cure.

In the 1985, Dr. Gordy Klatt, wanted to enhance the income of his local American Cancer Society office and to show support for all of his patients who had battled cancer. He decided to personally raise money for the fight by doing something he enjoyed – running marathons. Dr. Klatt spent a grueling 24 hours circling the track at Baker Stadium. That first year, nearly 300 of Dr. Klatt's friends, family, and patients watched as he ran and walked the course. Throughout the night, friends donated $25 to run or walk with Dr. Klatt for 30 minutes. His efforts raised $27,000 to fight cancer.
Dr. Klatt thought about how others could take part in his mission to fight cancer. He envisioned a 24-hour team relay event that could raise more money to fight cancer. In 1986, with the help of Pat Flynn- 19 teams took part in the first team Relay event on the track at the historic Stadium Bowl and raised $33,000. An indescribable spirit prevailed at the track and in the tents that dotted the infield.

Well that’s answer my questions. No wonder the emcee keep asking us to walk around the track.:)

It is fun filled overnight event begin at 4pm by everyone start to build up their tents. Many activities had been held. Survivors lap, celebrity lap, backward lap, pyjama lap, school relay, college relay, endurance race, Ms.Relay Pageant, Mass Aerobic, Scavenger Hunt, Pillow War, Qi Gong Lap, Chicken Dance, poco-poco and final lap. Well, it’s RELAY. Also have free milo and free breakfast for all.

It’s quite tiring as I only slept for less than 2 hours. But I’m glad I’m joining the events- after google all the info- the events bring the message of HOPE to cancer patient that they can survive and to spread HOPE that we can avoid and survive from cancer. It’s not just a walk,it’s a life challenging experiences.

This would be my final entry about my life in Brunei which should published a few weeks ago.
It's OK to work there for few months but to live there absolutely nope.Quite boring and I'm counting the days to go home everyday.

Office hour-730 am to 630 pm everyday. Terasa macam pergi sekolah lak kul 730 am.

The night market is just a small market with people selling foods. Only took 10 minutes to round the area. Cheap food-you can found chicken chop for 2 hengget, nasi lemak 2 hengget and ikan baker 5 hengget.

Me,Shahida n Husna outing. As usual, we always buy something. From kain to pinggan mangkuk till Redondo.hmm..

Million Barrel
This place was only at behind our home.Me and the housemate went there one week before back to KL. This is a place where Brunei found the oil for the first time. Thus, they build the monument at this place to not forget the history.

Shahida and Abid Farewell
This is the place where we usually went on Friday if one of the housemate will go back to MY at the afternoon. It is Thai restaurant offering delicious food with good price. Our favourite- tomyam and chicken green curry.

This time we went there to celebrate Shahida’s farewell.

Saturday-not working.The plan is to go to Jerudong and took Shahida's passport.Straight went to Bandar and the mosque near Yayasan. I think this is the only attraction place in here. The view is so nice and we also prayed in the mosque.

Lunch at Restoran Nyonya and I think it provide the most delicious food from all the restaurant that I go in here.N the price considered ok.

We are not so in the mood of jalan-jalan.So decided to go back to Seria.But just not so long then, there was a promo in radio.Jualan murah..hehe. We straight went to Gadong for the mission of kain kurung. Not so sure wether it is cheap or not.But I bought chifon which is 16 BND and get lining free. Bought for my mom and 2 sisters.

Again,the three of us went to Miri.The mission is to buy ikan masin to bring home next week-my friends,not me.We were spend half day there. There's nothing in Miri unless you want to go for caves trip. But for that trip-later.

Went to KK alone.2 A's -azhari and aizat send me at Miri airport. Went for a work in the morning and then out at 12pm.My flight at 245 pm and reached at KK at 330pm.Maza want to take me but I insist to take a cab.Met her at Pasar Philippines. I bought ikan masin keropok there for half kilo. Abah like this ikan masin very much.Kain for mom and ikan masin untuk abah...hmmm macam fair enough.heh..

Supposely Rozy was here too.He had the transport so that I can use him to bring me jalan-jalan.The plan-Karambunai.Am I spelled this correctly this time?
But his grand grandfather died last nite and for sure he unable to meet us.

Saturday,I spend the whole day at One Borneo.The largest shopping complex here and I really really luv the shopping complex.It's like Mid Valley but I think I like One Borneo more than Mid Valley.Maybe because Mid valley had too many peeps and it made me headache.But here,it's big..shops not so expensive..had a bowling..karaoke..and GSC. And I'm playing bowling and watched Benjamin Button.

My review for Benjamin Button-it's really a long story. I'm bet if I watch this at CD,for sure I will be sleep. Although long story and have a few chapter that I felt so bored, I also cry towards the ending of the movie.heh..

N then rushing back to Pasar Philippine.I bought rumpai laut and sotong bakar for my dinner. Maza family very surprised looking at me eat that creatures.heh..flora bukan fauna.

Monday-back to Brunei.Maza kazen send me to the airport. N the bonzers took me at the airport and we went to office for work. Sgt penat. N at 6pm, I drove to Bandar to take my housemate.All of them went back to KL and ask for a little help to take them at the airport.

Agenda hari ini ialah menonton Upin dan Ipin bersama kakak-kakak,abang-abang dan adik-adik. In short,citer Upin Ipin best.Enjoy la tengok..tkder la kartun tuh mcm lambat2.

Then hari masih awal. Lepas hantar adik-adik balik umah,Majlis Tertinggi decide nak sambung plan.Location baru bertempat di Pavillion.Tengok Slumdog Millionaire.Aku interested nak tengok citer Brat Pitt jadi Mr.Button tuh.Tapi sumer orang dah tengok.Maka tak der la tengok.Lepas makan, gi Masjid India.Tujuan-makan di gerai murah yang berlatarbelakangkan KLCC.

Slumdog Millionaire best.It's a low budget movie but win 8 awards and the producer have a plan to make it as muzikal theater.And the two kids act in that film also actually the real life slum kids-Latika and Salim at the age of 8.Now they are given a real homes and moved out from the slums area after the movie grab the attention from the public. Well..it's written.

Lepak kat KLCC with Maz. Just jalan2 sebelum balik bekerja.Flight pukul 530 dan aku naik LCCT bus from KL Sentral.Weather is not good. Kul 8pm masih berada di atas awan sebab tak boleh turun hujan lebat.From 10 minutes to another 10 minutes, and yet 45 minutes.So the pilot decide to landing at KK. 1 hour later, the flight went back to the origin destination-Brunei.So I'm reached there about 12pm. Luckily have Aisyoul and Shahida. Arrived at home at 2am. And yes very tired.

Pagi bangun lambat.Memang sengaja nak golek2 tido bangun lambat.Sebab sayang bile bangun awal. Thought nak bangun kul 10am tapi takleh.Mata dah segar kul 830 am.Nasib baik ader internet.

After lunch, me and my housemate kuar buy brg2. Rasanya satu daerah Kuala Belait aku jelajah.Dari Seria ke Kuala Belait..Sumer supermarket kitorang pergi.Sebab itu jer pun yang ader.

Outing to Bandar. Bandar Seri Begawan tapi panggil bandar jer.Sebut nama penuh kene gelak.Nampak sangat bukan local people sebab nama penuh.

We went to Gadong n then Muara n then Yayasan.I like Yayasan because it is near mosque and the scenery is so beautiful. Bawak kamera untuk snap pics but alahai..tak recharge batery.Takper banyak masa lagi.

Being there reminded me back a few years ago during university times.Me and the friends walked here and there with a map in hand because there are no public transport here.And today I went again to the same place and those place are not changed at all. I also can found the same keychain that I bought in the same shop five years ago-yes it is still there with the same design.hmm..

Nite -took Maz at the airport.Two cars-our car and the guys car.Asyoul,Uncle J and Sepul were picked up by Azhari.We went to the near restaurant for our dinner.The mutual agreement is that-those who are not going for a flyback will need to pick up people who went for a flyback.
And as the rewards,we will have a free dinner.And I eat a lot..yess a lot.

So my weekend is not so happening.Nothing much can be explored here.But it's ok for a start.At least I had round Kuala Belait and Bandar area.

First day in Brunei

First day in Brunei. Coming here with the team members-3 A guys;Abid,Aizat and Azhari. Took a flight from KL to Miri.From there, took a cab to Brunei.One of us having a visa problems during the imegresen checking at the borders. From Miri to Brunei,it took about 1 hour to reached there.

I stayed with Mazlina,Mala and Shahida who will be coming tomorrow.What a best thing living here-all things can be claim,including laundry,astro dan duit minyak. Every morning also there would be a person in charge to tidy our room. One house will get a car.SO 4 people sharing one car.From here to the office,it would only took 5 minutes.

What not good is-I need to cancel my trip to China.Not be able to join Mraz and Rihanna concert, cancel my Perhentian ISland trip with the colleague.Sigh..

Staying here make me keep thinking on what I want to do for this week and next week and the week after. I'm thinking of Gua Mulu and GUa Niah since it is in Miri. If no one interested to join me,most probably I went there by myself. And to Labuan and KK by ferry and boat,maybe I will do this as well.I heard Karang Brunei is beautiful and a friend in Sandakan,maybe I will meet him.Hmm..

Pelajar cemerlang kita pada hari ini ialah Aniza.Sampai terbongkok-bongkok die cube buat slides.Lagi rendah kebarangkalian untuk berjaya lebih tinggi,mengambil pakai konsep fizik.

Jehan pun cemerlang;die kata faktor yoga yg die praktis mungkin banyak membantu.Yer..mungkin aku perlukan yoga.

Elly,ni anak didik Aniza dan Jehan yang paling cemerlang.

Then gi makan steamboat kat restoran Flaming. Ader orang kata Flamongio.Ntah dari maner datangnyer 'O' tuh.Makan sampai kenyang.RM19.90 satu kepala.Dessert makan aiskrim.Appetiser-Jco donut Aniza belanja.

Ini adalah hari yg memenatkan tapi best.program ku full dari pagi sampaila malam. Kul 830 dah siap2 nak gi ke masjid besar shah alam.Sampai saner dlm kul 9.Program amal cuci kereta bersama vivac dan Salam.Objektifnya untuk mengumpul dana Tabung Palestin. Tapi kete-kete lain pun ader gak macam neo,myvi.Selepas pelancaran, lepak-lepak breakfast dulu.Sebab terlalu ramailah orang teruja untuk membasuh kereta.Maka kami duduk ditepi dahulu.Then,tukar shift.Bebudak salam lak g cuci kete.kali ni nyer basuh mcm simple sikit-takder vacuum. Kalo ader mesti aku amik tender vakum tuh.Maleh nak main ngan air.Kasutku basah and at last berkaki ayam. After lunch,solat zuhur di masjid besar Shah Alam.Ni first time masuk masjid nih.ader hikmah gak buat charity car wash kat sini.Then,sambung keje. Kedai tutup kul 4 pm sebab hari nak hujan.Bukan nak hujan..dah hujan dah pun.

Acara 2:Astrofest

Then aku ngan Karem terus ke Astrofest.Ader byk makanan tapi sumer beratur panjang.Setakat makan nasi minyak,sate dan mee udang.Tengok bunkface buat persembahan.Tepat kul 7pm kitorg gerak ke Salam. Supposely dalam 10 minit boleh jer sampai salam.Tapi seperti biasa me n karem termiss jalan kuar dan terus lalalalalala.nasib baik Jehan ader,she pick up us at kl sentral.

Acara 3: Puisi Amal Palestin
Venue: Ruamh Pena

Then dari situ pergi ke acara no.3-Puisi Amal Palestin dengan kerjasama Yayasan Salam,TV9 dan tak sure lg saper di Rumah Pena.Ramai-ramai penyajak tersohor take part-first time aku rasa aku enjoy dengar puisi. Host-host kopi 0 the tarik tv9 buat show.Yg lain macam ramli sarip,kopratasa, nora,sofaz,ustazah baiah, menteri besar Melaka pun ader.Ader yang menyanyi dan ader yg berpuisi.Namun semuanyer dengan objektif yang sama-keprihatinan terhadap Palestina. Ayat saper ntah aku tak ingat-walaupun jauh tapi yang menyatukan kita adalah agama.

Aku baru berangan nak pegang tabung amal palestin tuh sekali tabung tuh untuk budak gadis melayu TV9 yang baru menang.Si Aida nih bawaklah keliling untuk saper-saper yang nak donate money.Ceh..tak layak rupanye aku nak pegang.heh.

Berkumpul kat KL Sentral.Naik train dari KL to Alor Setar.Sampai 8am di sana.

Lepak-lepak umah Mak Wan.Then, after breakfast,gi ke Menara ALor Star.Kesini atas jemputan YB-mcm mcm program ada 3 dalam 1-pertandingan bubur asyura,program palestine selamatkan gaza tuh dan ader show nyanyi2.

Dari Alor Setar ke Hatyai naik van.Satu kepala RM24. Masa perjalanan dalam 2 jam.Sampai Hatyai,amik tiket bus ke Phuket.Tak tau la berapa banyak aku tido hari nih.Hatyai-Phuket dalam 6-7 hours.

Sampai Phuket dah malam around 12pm.Nak tak nak terpaksa naik cab walaupun harganye lebih mahal dari tiket bus Hatyai-Phuket.

Check-in kat Lamai Guest House.Aku membayangkan hotel ini huduh sebab harganyer murah.Rupe-repenye hotel ini cantik.3 days and 2 nite with rm80 perhead.Okla kan..Lepas mandi, turun bawah n masak maggi.Sarah bawak dapur gas and aniza bawak periuk.Kitorg masak manggi kat depan hotel after got the approval that we can eat there.

Lepas makan,sewa motor untuk satu hari.Kirenyer 2am hari nih sampai 2 am esoknya.Aku naik ngan Sarah dan konvoi beramai2 pusing area Patong beach. Then balik bilik tido.

Esok pagi breakfast roti.Lepas makan, gi Patong beach.Mula-mula nak mandi tapi tak jadik tukar program ke petang.So round area Patong,tangkap2 gambar,survey Phi-Phi Island package dan misi mencari fridge magnet dan Tshirt Phuket.

Makanan ok tak susah cari yang halal.Depan beach tu pun ader gerai orang islam.Maka maknenye halal.Harga pun oklah standard yg ader kat sini.

Petang-gi mandi laut.Zam,aniza,Sam dan Syuk begitu bersusah payah mengajar aku,Karem,kak alisah,elly dan ina berenang. Ini mesti untuk misi hari esok.Lepas mandi manda sejuk-sejuk,masak manggi dan makan manggi.Huh..tak pernah dibuat orang bawak dapur gas masak manggi kat tepi laut.Takder la tepi sangat,jauh sikit.

Malam-makan kat gerai Kuntum.Nama asal Kesuma;nama samaran Kuntum. Restoran Muslim gak.Cakap Kelate lagi.After makan, gi round area Patong lagi.

R&R last pada hari ini ialah Patong Road.Lebih kurang kul 1 lebih kot kitorang kat sini.Dari luar wah..macam meriah.aku hingat bolehla shopping lagi sebab pintu masuknyer nampak ader org jual brg2 souvenir.Then bile masuk...wah..happening nyer sampai aku pening.heh..

Road ni penuh ngan lady boy dan sekutu sekutunya.Lampu lilap-lilap sana sini.Paam-paham jerla tempat aper..hehhe..walaupun tempat tuh mcm tuh...ambil gambar itu mesti.Tempat ni penuh dengan niteclub,muzik bingit dan pompuan2 yg jual diri.erkk..bukan pompuan pun ader.Ader satu ladyboy ni punyerlah nak tangkap gambar ngan kitorang.Jenuh cakap tak nak,so at last oklah sebab ingat free (ni Sarah la ni cakap free) dan tak nak die kaco lagi sebenarnyer.Tup tup minta 100 bhat.Mula-mula tak nak bagi,masing-masing buat bodoh.Tapi bile die dah kecoh-kecoh,okla Syuk pun bayar.

Bangun awal pagi-check out n tunggu van yang akan hantar kitorang ke jeti.Pakej snorkeling to Phi Phi Island,Viking Island dan lagi satu tk ingat-rm80.Including lunch.Lunch nyer halal.Maka di Phuket kitorg tak der problem langsung cari makanan halal dan murah dan juga sentiasa makan sebab ader dapur gas dan periuk.Mesti Qi destinasi budget salut kat kitorang kalo die tau.

First island-tak sure namanyer.Island ni sangat cantik.Ader bot laju yg amik kitorang dari bot yang kitorang naik tadi ke island nih.Bot tuh tak leh kesini sebab air kat pulau ni cetek.Aku very enjoy kat pulau ni kot sb airnya sangat cantik.

Second island-Viking island.Ni tempat leonardo dicaprio buat shooting citer The Beach.Tak taula kalo fakta aku salah..Aku turun snorkel jap kat sini..tk lama sebab gugel aku masuk air.N bot tak provide any extra gugel lagi.Plus aku pun bukanlah water confident sangat.

Third island-Phi Phi Island.Kat sini ader la aku masuk air lama sikit.Tak snorkel pun sb gugel rosak.Tapi masih dikelilingi ngan ikan2.Bagi roti berlumba-lumba datang

Island-island nih landscape nyer cantik.Memang waa...cantiknyer.Tapi coralnyer tidak cantik.Lagi cantik kat Redang 4 tahun lepas dan Perhentian satu tahun lepas.Skrg tak tau la kan..Coral kat Phuket dah tak cantik dan most of them coral mati disebabkan kes tsunami.Hmm..no wonder.

Kat atas bot ni,dok provide guestnyer buah dan air.Of course masih lapar.Kak alisah masak manggi dan beramai-ramaila makan manggi atas bot nih. Mat saleh mesti kutuk nyer la.hhhehe

Sampai daratan dalam kul 6pm.Van terus bawak kitorang ke masjid berdekatan untuk solat zuhur dan asar.Supposely van ni bawak kami ke stesen bus Phuket terus,tapi disebabkan nak mandi manda,solat dan terus balik ke Malaysia,singgahla jap kat masjid nih.

And again..kat kawasan ni ader orang melayu.Sorang pakcik tua nih fasih berbahasa melayu.Die cakap mak die melayu dan bapanyer arab.Yang lain tau bahasa melayu sikit-sikit.All of them very concern towards us,syukur alhamdulilah dan dotang pun mengoffer mandi di rumah mereka.Sebab toilet limited dengan jumlah kitorang plus air kat toilet masjid tuh slow.Aku ok jer dan tumpang la mandi kat rumah pakcik nih.

Thought after tu terus ke stesyen bus.But then Fait,Syuk dan Sam dapat pertolongan dari saper ntah untuk ditumpangkan ke stesyen bus dan beli tiket balik ke Hatyai.Maka van yang dah dibooked tadi pun di releasekan sebab of course..takkan nak minta tunggu after magrib.Tiket dah ader kire selamat sikit la kan..jarak jauh dari masjid dan stesen bus dalam 15-20 minit.

Lepas solat,makan kat gerai berdekatan.Gerai muslim,aku rasa kaum kerabat umah-umah yang dekat-dekat ngan masjid nih.Lepas makan,jalan kaki ke stesyen bus.

27 Jan

Smpai Hatyai pukul 4 lebih. Lepak kat surau and then 6am van yang amik dari Alor Setar-Hatyai tu datang. So pulang ke Alor Setar.Bebudak lain continue their journey ke Pekan Rabu dan umah abah.Aku decide to balik kampung.Amik bus ke Butterworth n then ke Parit Buntar.Abah tunggu aku kat Parit Buntar.

So that's the journey of ALor Setar-Hatyai-Phuket.Perjalanan mmg penat-tapi just have fun.Ni kire latih tubi sebelum episod 3 negara.Dan kos memang sangat berbudget-snorkel amik murah nyer pakej rm80 plus hotel 2 mlm (rm80), transport (motor plus bus plus van) aderla around rm100. Duit makan aku rasa adala less than rm50.Total up mungkin kurang atau lebih sikit dari rm300.

Hari penyampaian anugerah kepada sukarelawan aktif dan cemerlang. Juga penghargaan kepada media dan penaja-penaja. Kene buat baik ngan diorg nih-sebab tu ader penghargaan kat diorang gak. Datuk bagi ucapan dan lepas tuh ader sesi mari berposing dengan reporter. Maka dengan langkah penuh bergaya, berposingla kami beramai2 diatas stage tuh. Macam artis gak la time tuh.

N then ader performance. Artis baru mcm adik-adik rumah nursalam, makcik-makcik rumah sinar salam n capoiera from brazil bg show yg menarik. N then artis meletop macam kitorang buat ala-ala teater muzikal.Cikgu Fakri yang menang tiga kali award tu jadi koreografer n Karem yang tak pernah menang award lagi jadi director.heh

Ok citernyer begini. Watak utama-fait,sam,ina dan zam.Lain-lain pegang watak sampingan yang amat bergaya.

Scene 1:Fait budak yg memboringkan sebab wikend die macam tak tahu nak buat aper.Maka Sam pun mengajakla Fait join volunteer.Then stop-kuar lagu Voulez-vous. Dancers (kareem,aku,eli,tim,ina,alisah,fiza,zam) pun kuar menari2.

Scene 2:Fait n Sam gi rumah orang-orang tua. Zam dan Ina jadi orang tua yg kemudian nyanyi lagu Celine Deon.

Scene 3: Fait pun suke nak join volunteerism.Maka dia pun mengejoin volunteerism.heh.
Lagu Ku Bahagia Melly Goeslow-sumer penari kuar lagik.

Scene 4:Hip hop scene.Cikgu buat hip hop yg lain tepuk tangan jer.

Hebat kan.Practice berminggu2 gakla sampai lebam mata.heh-tu auta yer. But yes, everybody give their best commitment with this performance. And finally…this is the day. Although the hall is not what we had expected..plus the very first dancing performance from everyone (me especially)…tapi dengan semangat kelaut yang ada…memang kelaut la persembahan tu. Hahahha…Mula-mula jerlah kelaut, then bile sumer orang dah selesa, we just know that we can do this. Satu dewan tepuk tangan sambil menjerit ‘We want more..we want more’. Ni aku tau diorang menjerit dalam hati.

Kesimpulannya, aku penat. Tapi aku enjoy. Dan aku sayangkan volunteerism. Dan aku sayang sumer kawan-kawan aku.

Joined company trip for three days and two nite at Penang. Having wonderful time there. The best part is I’m trying the paragliding. Will try it again later..alone. Other activity-telematch. I’m not register myself and give the name at a very last minute before the game start. So I joined the red group. The telematch had 5 rounds with each team will need to compete with other team in five games. Nite activity-dinner time. Thanks to Karem, I borrowed her skirt. After dinner, here comes photography session. Just jump to other people and took photos with them. Bringing my own camera..but not used it at all..heh.So enjoy those pics below.

Aku skrg kat rumah..dan akan pulang ke kampung esok pagi.Bahagianye balik kampung..;)
Pagi tadi pergi Jalan TAR dgn Karem.Shopping tudung raya.Pergi kul 9am balik kul 12.Orang sgt ramai sampai sesak tempat tuh.Biasala..last minute shopping.

Yesterday-Friday went to mid valley from the office.The others alr there-execute the mission of shopping baju raya for Rumah Solehah.Then berbuka puasa at Little Vietnam.The food consider OK for me but mine not too tasty.I'm not finished it at all. Believe me..I always finished up my food.heh..
After a few session of explorace—finding a surau all that..lepak sebentar at Big Apple and then continue back the shopping session.That task still not end yet but me and Karem have other task-wached Mama Mia.

Believe me..Mama Mia was so damn best.I do not know that it is the musical story and when the mama started to sing-I just knew that I would like that movie.It’s a long time since the last time I think the movie that I watched is worth it to watch.Last time maybe The Enchanted.The rest…tgk CD pun ok..heh..

SO lastly from me-till I'm coming back..

Makan-makan di Salam.Chefnya Cekgu Fakri.Pembantunya ramai-termasuk aku.heh..tolong makan..Banyak sgt makanan sb ramai yg membeli bahan-bahan extra.Round1 makan buah-buahan dan kuih muih.Round 2 makan nasi dan lauk pauk yang dimasak oleh cekgu.Round 3 makan sosej.Round ke 4 makan roti jala yg Karem masak dan kuih talam yg Fizah masak.Nak makan lagi tp serius tak larat dah.Maka,tanpa segan silu menapau laksa yg Alang masak.Maka jadilah round ke 5-makan laksa.Sedap..nasib baik tapau banyak.Sebab Karem pun sibuk mengeshare sekali.heh...

Hahahah..I'm update this entry from the office.Today not much work can do since the portal is down-and I'm mostly done with the scripting instead of few things which still waiting for the documentation, clarification bla bla.

Buka puasa with geng Salam at KLCC. It is a long time since the last day that I met all of them-during candat activity I guess.So there are about 20 peoples join the buka puasa-which a few of them I never met before.Well,as this is Salam's geng, pretty sure that all of us can get long together well. Yup,that evening full of stories,gossipps and laughters.

After Isyak prayer, we continue our lepaking at Mamak Stall near the KLCC. The original plan might be watched the Mama Mia movie.But since Sarah got the rumours news about the movie-the movie not started yet ya in here--and the other movies seems boring and stupid--eg:luve guru n zohan--pls don't watch this two--but yet every body still want to hang around--so the next place just mamak stall nearby KLCC.

Lepaking at Genting with my best buddies-Fisz,Sal,Lina and Zatil.Together with them just bring my mind back to our old memories-Room 330.Our one day vocation which is full of laughter.

The trip starts with Sal sending a message to Fisz telling how bored is she and she really wanted to meet us. Sal lives at Johor and I also not sure when the last time I met her. Then, agreed we need to spend some quality time together. While each of us do not know where to go, we come out with a few interesting plan. The result-Genting as I already book a room -88.80 at First World Hotel for a night. Lina doesn’t believe at all that I can get such a price at Genting-until I showed her the itenary booking. Well Lina, that’s the advantage of Internet booking.

So all of us met at KL Sentral and then took a bus straight to Genting.
It’s not our day I guess-as outdoor games need to be closed coz of the bad weather. Just three or four games that we had tried before we were instruct to leave the outdoor games area. So the next alternatives-indoor games- which I called as ‘ramah mesra games’.

Our breakfast at Marrybrown with the price is OK. But, our lunch at Curry House which is soo expensive.Iskh..our fault- we just came straight to the restaurant without looking at the price label first. Below is my lunch pics;the price is totally insane-rm20 hinggit. Maka sambil menikmati juadah, berbakul-bakul 'pujian' diberikan kepada kedai ini.

Broke coz of that Curry House. So, this is our breakfast-Mee Manggi Cepat Dimasak Sedap Dimakan.

Next indoor games-rock climbing-with the ticket price only rm4. I’m not able to reach till at the peak-but really glad that at last I tried this games.And I really want register myself at the beginner class-Sunway. So later when I go to Krabi, I can try the rock climbing there as professional person. Heheheh..

There’s a shop which sell many kinds of pickles. I am not buying anything but I tried everything. A place which you should go- go go eat the tester!!

Then finally we reached at KL back. Me and Sal sleep that night at Fisz house.

We went to Cineleisure and watched late nite movie-Wall E. Fisz sleep from begin till end the stories-and Sal sleep only after half way of that movie. Me..I think my eyes open but my mind…Conclusion-boring to me.

Plan candat sotong ni rasanya dah lama.Dari time busy buat cuci kete amal lagi.So time tu dari sumer orang kata okie..then sorang-sorang kata tak okielak…then okie balik…then tak okie balik…hehhe…aku la tuh..

Tup tup jumaat tuh dapat message dari kak alisah.

Aku: Haih..malam ni yer nak gi candat sotong rupenyer. Serius..ingat esok..

So terus packing beg besar hijau katak tu ngan baju2 yg ader. Pegi opis bawa beg besar tuh..collegue aku dah sedia maklum kalo beg besar hijau tu ader maknanyer aderla tempat aku nak gi tuh..

Working at Shell from 2pm till 10pm. Janji ngan Kak Alisah kul 930pm. Seperti biasa..ranking datang lambat akula takhtanya.Kekadang tu jer Karem join sekali ranking lambat..itupun sebab datang ngan aku..

Tapi..kali ni tak sangka…aku datang cepat..kul 1030 tuh.
Dan mereka-mereka terlibat tidak datang lagi.Hmm..belajar dari pengalaman nampaknya..

Konvoi reramai-4 kete.Kete Alisah, kete Ida, kete Nani kawan opis Erme dan kete Tim.

Then gi apartment-kakak Sal nyer umah.

Kul 3pm-naik bot.Yer aktiviti mencandat bermula.First experience and really appreciate it. Sotong-sotong tu hampeh tak nak makan umpan aku…mungkin sebab umpan aku umpan palsu..kepala umpan ikan tu lak warna merah..nampak sangat umpan olok-olok…

Dah sampai jeti. Dapat 30 kilo sotong. Okie ah tuh. Portion ni banyaknyer dari Jo and the geng. Balik umah tido jap.

Kul 10 am kuar gi breakfast.
Pergi jalan-jalan kat Masjid Kristal dan Taman Tamadun Islam.

Series,aku impress ngan kedua-dua nih.
Kitorang tak masuk Taman Tamadun Islam nih sb tak siap lagi..still under construction tapi kene bayar rm10.

Honestly,aku tak kisah bayar rm10 tuh..coz I believe that’s not the exact price. Bile sume monumen tu dah siap dibina, the ticket maybe can reach up to rm30. And the building so damn beautiful..Monumen-monumen glamour dari celah pelusuk dunia diambil dan dibina semula dengan mengecilkan saiznya 1:8. Monumennya juga dibina dengan bahan binaan yang sama dengan building asal dibina. Huh..terus kepala aku kire kos..

Masjid Cristal pun cantik.Ader pakai konsep Taj Mahal. Dari jauh nampak Masjid tuh dari pintu masuk yang di depannya ader pancutan kolam.
Macam salah jer ayat nih tapi lebih kurangla..

Malam, Masjid Kristal nih akan bertukar colour warna warni..unggu ke merah ke hijau ke gold..agaknya la..tapi memang colournya tukar-tukar..tak sangka sungguh..Masjid Kristal memang cantik.

For me, the idea of Masjid Kristal dan Taman Tamadun Islam memang best. The idea is there but the concept of implementation and execution..errmmmm…
But give a time…mungkin ada yang berkata-kata this is wasted project. Maybe true for now but just believe when those issue had been encountered, these two wonderful buildings will be a great place to visit.. Pandang kehadapan baru ada kemajuan rite?

Last but not least, singgah di Muzium Terengganu. Muzium Terengganu terbesar di Asia Tenggara. The museum use the concept of classic building..amik contoh umah-umah lama Malaysia. That’s what makes it unique.

Then pegi Masjid Terapung lak dan buy kopok longsong.

Gi Heritage. Teringat lak kat Bandung.hehehe…
Heritage tempat yacht berlabuh..cikgu bawa kitorang tengok-tengok jalan-jalan..

The trip..fun..full of laugh..not so adventurous but hey we are doing almost everything during this trip. From train-angkut-angkut-hiking-shopping-singing-join the street singer-shooting-the five days break seems so short for me.

The band performances were organized by Marketing student..which university I'm not sure. Peterpan the making..those kids really have a talent and their lecturers give full support to them.

Bandung-shopping heaven. I don't like shopping but in Bandung-the place really tought me on how to 'spend' my money wisely. The boys really hate us that time.

A trip to Medan

This is a very last minute decision. I never think that I will follow my mom n sis for their vocation. But then..hei just follow..which I glad made that decision coz we were very have a great holiday. Most of all, we spend our time together. If keja here, then our ‘mission’ will be complete. But with her condition six month pregnancy, its better if she stay at home with her family.

Reached at Medan by Friday morning. We left our luggage at the hotel and have our breakfast—nasi padang..too heavy for breakfast isn’it..Well,we need the energy for our next activity..shopping!! I’m not buying anything to myself here..not yet actually..just bought all the things which had been ordered to me..first thing first...

Afternoon, went to Lady Q. The package seriously cheap…spa plus massage plus facial..only for rm60-80 only..

Nite, have our dinner together. N just hang out at the near shopping complex; walking distance from the hotel.

Day 2
Went to Beras Tangi.Rent a Kijang and it took about hour and half to reach there. Beras Tangi looks like Kundasang and Ranau at Sabah n Cameron at here. Fruits n flowers sold here…n souvenirs…

Also went to the hot water spring..we can see from far that we are going to that place..

Lunch again; nasi padang..We enjoyed this time meal; nasi padang compare to yesterday.

So, still have a time..continue shopping..mom n sis bought ‘telekung’ for biz purpose..Finally our last stop at Zulaikha at Jalan Majapahit..purposely to buy bika ambon and kek lapis lengit..

Day 3
Back to Msia early in the morning. Our flight at 850 am. So lepak-lepak at kema’s home first before went home.

Have a very great lunch at Carcosa Seri Negara with Onehealth team…The lunch actually to celebrate for the successful of go live One Health Philippines which I was previously involved in that project..well, only for five days actually…Thanks ya hasnol for inviting me..

The hotel was super classy and one of the historical building. Carcosa was the official residence of the highest British representatives to the Malay States begin with Sir Frank Swetthenham. Hehhehe..just gggooole about that..

We arrived quite early and waited for Zatil n Fisz.
We are coming here purposely for the FREEZE events.

Freeze for Earth World Day.
The objectives –give an impact and creating awareness in conjunction for World Earth Day.
We need to freeze for 4 minutes with interesting actions. It’s good if a person also bring items which symbols of environmentalist. I just bring a paper beg which symbolize of avoid the usage of plastic beg.Well, in short...it’s cool to be there..

Manakala hewan2 lain ditaja beramai2 dengan diketuai oleh Zam The Hunter yg bertindak meredah hutan dan menyusuri air sungai gombak untuk memburu hewan2 tersebut.

Kedengaran hiruk pikuk dari jauh.
Mungkinkah sudah start?

Should supposedly hang out with my friends..to celebrate Fisz n Lina birthday.But, Fisz need to go for work n then the plan was cancelled. N then think to join the boling games and outreach programme. But then, the idea to just stay at home, tidying my closet, relax myself, washes my clothes and complete a few tasks were in my mind. So, I did that. Abah is here and I accompany him to Kema house. Abah routine when he being in KL; to rotate to each of my sis house.

VRC programme was held at the Singgahsana hotel.A special day which chosen by Salam to show their appreciation towards their volunteers. A big hug n million thanks to each of the Salam staff n to the other volunteers friends also :)

Then, hang out reramai to mamak stall. Have our teh ais,maggi goring and murtabak.
Food were marvelous. Show performances.. fantastic. Photographic session..as usual..no words for that J And those who donate ‘satu ringgit’ to me..merci beaucoup.

Hang out with my friends..mazliyana n dilla..ex schoolmates.knew them for almost 12 years.We watched movie together;the dunia baru the movie.and then hv our lunch n chit chat for almost 2 hours at kopitiam.As karaoke is full book, we continue our lepak-ing day with walking along the jalan bukit bintang..from times squares to star hill n to pavilion. Explore the area n enter to the small shops along the road.

Sleep at umah Kema today.She went to Bangkok and my bro in law not here.Meaning - to take care of Johan. Spoil my plan for tomorrow; but nevermind; that’s what sisters are for. Send Johan to his class music at 8pm.While waiting for him, I went to salon; cut my hair.Shockly it cost RM25 for simple cut.hampeh tul.

Morning, went to Wisma MBA together with Eli,Ita n Fakri. One note thing that I admit; get from the seminar.Typical Malay-old people seems to think that when old, they really need to rest. Go to mosque, eat roti canai, take their grandchild from school, etc. Live with simple life; while actually it will cost for Alzheimer. As their not fully utilize their brain to think. Hafal Quran, gardening n a little exercise will be good for them.

-Start work. Set up electric wiring after get briefing from Abg Jaafar. My first time doing this job. After prepared of those components needed (not sure what we call those tools), we divide ourselves into a group and choose a house to set up the wiring. One house should have two or three lamp.

-Not all houses in the village had the electric. SALAM paid a contractor to set up the electric wiring in the village.We came just for helping the contractor to set up the electric wiring at few houses and at the same time get exposure of orang asli community.

-Trip to waterfall. It took not more than one hour walking destination from a place that abg Jaafar stopped us.

Kl trips-Day 2

Huh..today like explorace day for me. From one destination to another destination. So our first spot was KL Sentral. I park my car there and we went to KLCC.Have a look at Galeri Petronas; great exhibition art. Next location; Menara KL. My first time also here, looking the KL’s view from the top of the Menara. Enjoying the exhibition food there; we went from one stall to another stall. As we are so hungry at that time; so we keep trying all tester food there.

Next, we went to Masjid India, Petaling Street and Central Market area. At nite, rushing to nasz’s untie house at Cheras and speed our way to Tesco Kajang. I am too tired then and fall asleep just after coming back home. Both of them continued packing their luggage as they will go back to Sabah the next early morning; flight at 7am. So by at 315 am, I wake up and send them to KL Sentral. I reached there at 345; luckily the LCCT bus still there. Huh, nasib baik. So that’s all story. Hope you all enjoy coming down here although the plan not working so well

KL trips-Day 1

My friends,Maza and Nasz came to KL on 21st dec; a day after Hari Raya Haj. However, I not been here since I was in Cambodia. I already make a plan for them; so that I can go to Cambodia without worried about them. However, there are many things happen which make their trip here are not working like what had been planned; I don’t know whether it is a disaster for them or not. So sorry girls..Well, it start from Fizah had an accident and she can’t take them at LCCT. Luckily we have Rizal who took those gurls. Then, Nasz need to call for her aunt who she not met for 7 years and stay with her for two days before they met Fizah. So I met them the day after I coming back from Cambodia. They came to Kajang; and our first destination was Putrajaya. Then from Putrajaya, we went to Sunway Piramid. Met another few friends there. Lepak-lepak at Laksa Shake.Then, we went to Fizah home at Wangsa Maju to take their luggage. So exhausted on this day because we keep lose our way..kekkeke..biasalah tuh..

Cambodia-Day 6

Our last day here. Took a tut-tut and went to Eurasian market.Another place for shopping. But I think Central Market much better than here. Then, get back to our hotel and packing our belongings. Ready to go home. It is a very wonderful experience to being here with those friends. We keep laughing and make a joke. It is a little bit frustration however coz we are not going to Siem Riep; place of Angkor Watt. But nevermind, maybe next time.

Cambodia-Day 5

A day for exploring Pnom Penh. First location was killing field or Chouengek Genocidal Center. This is a tragic place where Pol Pot killed millions of Kampuchean with cruel and pitiless.

3-Pol Pot systematic way; there is about ten graves here in killing field; which each of the graves for specified victims.

Second location-Tuol seng genocide museum.
This building contains three stories with divided into 20 cells. Those cells are used for jailing, interrogating and torturing the prisoners.

Pic 2-Each cells contain bed and equipment to torture the prisoners. Picture there show the victim and how the equipment to be used to torture them.

Pic 3- Pol Pot soldier’s take the photos of those victims first and wear them a tag number. If the tag number show number 202, it means that he/she prisoner number 202.

Other locations just around the town such as palace, museum and market.Huhuhu..then we went again to Central Market for our last shopping.

Cambodia-Day 4

It is hard to say goodbye with people here. All of them are very sweat and generous. We know that they are not affordable to buy anything but they try to make everything perfect to us. We are touched by their kindness.

Laihai to them.

We were going to Phnom Penh today. Seven hours journey again. Ride by a very crowded van; about 15 people I think. The driver even took four large cupboards and put it on top of the van. Then, surprisingly, the van stopped at petrol station to wash the van. From what had been informed to me, before vehicles enter to the town; they need to clean their vehicles first.

We stayed at IndoChina2 hotel. After having our lunch at Muslimin restaurant which is near our hotel, we went to Central Market by tut-tut for shopping. Here, people can talk English better. But, if want to get more cheaper, try to talk in their native tongue. Hentam jerla betul ke tidak.

There are many handicapped people there; selling books which cost around 4 to 6 dollar per book. For us, our ‘entrepreneurs’selling tissues; but there-books. Not original books actually, they make a copy of it. That’s why those books cheap. My friend can get as low as 2 dollar for one book. In the afternoon; ride a boat along Mekong river. It is quite happening there and also need to be very careful with our belongings. Alang nyer air kene kidnap ngan bebudak kat situ. Huh..horror...

For our dinner; we ate satay and french bread. Orang Malaysia memang kuat makan.:)

Promise to continue Cambodia trip later.

Day 3 in 2008.Never too late to wish you Happy New Year. 2008 will be like previous years, we keep our breath and continue our journey on life. Hoping a year great ahead; more joyness, happiness, excitement and successfulness to each of us.

Alhamdulillah, 2007 left me with such kind of good memories. A year that introduce me to the volunteerism world; have more wonderful and great friends in office and Salam; vocation trip to Taman Negara and Cambodia and company trip to Perth; kl trips with my friends coming from Sabah, have my own car; afford to buy digital camera; make a start on small business and more and more list behind.

For 2008, looking forward to be more success in my career and active lifestyles. I would like to try flying fox at Menara KL, rock climbing so I can go to Krabi which is heaven for rock climbing, swimming class, scuba class so that I can swim with shark (Aquaria KLCC) …hehhehe…more teater and orchestra, try crazy thing like audition for One in a million n amazing race, konvensyen salam budi hopefully will be the successful plan for volunteers, bring mak abah go for vocation and many many more wishes in my list. Huh..tamaknyer…Actually most of them bring forward from previous years. :)

Cambodia-Day 3

Still here at Praksantai. We wake up early as we want to go shopping at their market. They use riel as their currency which most of us do not have. We only have USD which is used in big town like Phnom Penh. In village like Praksantai, they use riel.I was very excited to see ‘baby sengkuang’ was sold here and decided to bought it and bring it home. Instead of that, just looking around what they sold.

Then, we went to “New Village”. I not remembered the village name in khmer language. We ride a lorry to go there. It’s not so far actually from this village but the route was so snaking. It was known as new village as this is a new area/territory for them to live. Only a few houses there and another a few still under construction. We were invited to see korban there.Then, lunch with them; nasi putih with daging masak kicap. However, as one of my group is Chinese who do not eat meat, she get special treat from them; egg and vegetables. So together we share her food as we also miss to eat egg. Hehehehe… After lunch we get back to Praksantai village as men want to go for Solat Jumaat.

As nothing much to do in the afternoon, me, Elly, Kak Rin and Hakim take a walk around the village. Luckily, there is wedding ceremony in one of the houses there. We just join with the rest of guest there and take picture with the bride and bridegroom. Here we met Nawal. She very fluent in Malay language and we very excited talk to her. We go to her house then and met another brides there.

As usual, dinner at Hakim’s house. Mama, Alang, K.Ani and Ita had cook deliciously nasi lemak for Hakim’s family and a few peoples who had been invited by Abah. All of them never eat nasi lemak before and the aroma of nasi lemak makes everyone hungry including me.

At that night, there are about ten people get married in the village. We were informed to wear a beautiful dress to go to those wedding ceremonies. We end up by going to six houses only because we were too tired too walk more. Those brides seriously beautiful and totally different from what we imagine. They look so famous and glamorous!

Here, girls are married at the early age as 17 years old. The wedding ceremonies for brides were held separately with the bridegroom. Men are going to bridegroom house and women going to brides house. They also have such daise like us but more simple and use a little bit creativity to make it look stunning.

Then, going back home to Sarah house. There are many people there and we joined them lepak-lepak. Have a chat with them. It is very wonderful night because we are keep laughing with them, although we don’t know what they said and pretty sure that they also not understand us. We learn their language and also do them. Faezah quite good in English; she help us translate words in khmer language.

Cambodia-Day 2

Selamat Hari Raya Haji. I feel amazed and eager to know what will happen today. I wake up as early at 530 to pray solat Subuh. Then, queue in front of the bathroom and wait for my turn as Sarah house sharing the bathroom with the other house.

It is very wonderful morning to hear ‘takbir’ raya here; at Praksantai Village. I can see clearly everyone out from their home walk to one destination; to the field which is near Sarah house; to pray together. Each people need to bring mat there; including us. While people were rushing to go there, I was busing with my camera catch a snap here and there. It is good experience to being together with Cham people and pray together. Although we do not understand their language, but that’s not a barrier; as Quran is universal. Only during ‘khutbah’ which is talked in cham language…hehhehe..we translated ourselves what it means.

After pray, we went to Hakim house. Surprisingly, Hakim’s father; Pakcik Tolos was a ‘ketua kampung’ there. He very keeps an eye on us because wherever we go, we realize he also there. Maybe he wants us to be safe and make sure everything is perfect.

We were given kuih-muih; sort like kuih sepit in Malaysia; for our breakfast in the morning of hari raya. That time I was thinking how lucky we are. We eat a lot! We have a table with full of food like lemang, nasi impit,ketupat,rendang,lontong and a few kuih muih. Huh, pagi2 dah dapat kolesterol tinggi. But later, we were served with another food. Ayam salai and kuah kacang which had the sweet taste. Simple food but yet so special and delicious.

About 930 am, the major function begin. I am not sure but I believe there are about 15 cows to be slaughtered. Those cows donate by concerned Malaysian people who willing to make korban here. If I not mistake, the process begin by collecting funds-one part is rm200. The amounts collected were given to the mufti there. So 15 cows had been slaughtered and distributed to each house at the village.

From what have been told to me, people there hardly ever eat fresh meat. Basically they eat once a day; based on what they produce also like rice and vegetables. And go fishing if they want to eat fish. Cows and buffalo to help them working in paddy fields. That’s why we were here; to be together with other Muslim and cheer up their hari raya haj with the korban. Surprisingly, there are not just us here in Cambodia. There a lot of Malaysian; from Yayasan Amal and other people who volunteered themselves to find funding to make korban in Cambodia. Feel proud to be Malaysian when I found out that there are too many good people here.

As usual, men were slaughtered the cows and women cook. We have our lunch at round 1pm. Just simple lunch, nasi putih with daging rebus.

At the evening, Kareema, local people, invited us to go to the next island by boat. The price is about 1500 riel per person. Nothing much we do there. Just walk through and looking around. Here, we were introduced by Faezah; ‘baby sengkuang’. The taste so sweat and it also so cute. I think we all look like a rabbit at that time.

Dinner with Hakim family.This time nasi putih with daging masak kicap. After having our lunch, we chat with Pakcik Tolos. Actually he don’t know English or Bahasa Melayu and we don’t know khmer/cham. Hakim help us by translate those words. He told us about Pol Pot regime and show us his book.

Cambodia-Day 1

OK. This will be a long story to write.

I went to Cambodia on 19 Dec. A day before Hari Raya Haji. I followed Yayasan Salam trip to go there. I don’t know anyone who joins the trip...but never mind...redah jerla. After about 3 hour’s journey, we land to this country safely. Feel excited to explore this country which famous of Pol Pot history but and at the mean time we bear in mind that we need to be very careful with citizen there.

At the airport, my friend, Elly, lost her luggage. Luckily, there is a man who notice Elly luggage had been taken by someone else. Thanks to him, Elly ran towards the person who took her luggage. I was following behind Elly. If Elly just one minute late, maybe she will lost her luggage. Then after a few minutes ‘drama’ between them, Elly got back her luggage and that woman had been arrested by the Imegresen.

We ride by a van to go to the Phnom Penh town; have our dinner and took Faezah, Hakim’s sister and also our lovely Mama. Then, we continue seven hours journey to Kampung Praksantai, Kratie. Kampung Praksantai is a Muslim village. If I not mistake, Muslim are called as Cham there. So the activity throughout the journey-we learn a few words of Khmer language. Saksabay for hello, akun for thank you and a few more which I not remembered.

We arrived to the village late at 1130 pm. Everyone might sleep already because the village was so quiet and dark. We all stay at Sarah house; which is the most beautiful house in the village. Sarah served us with bahulu that she baked by herself and tea. I just fall asleep after drink a cup of tea. Too exhausted with the journey that day.

Jumper doctor hari ahad lepas kul 2pm. Dapat MC for Monday.

Dr: Sakit aper?
Me: Demam..selsema..batuk
Dr: Ok.

Then..after sesi cek-mengecek…

Dr: Saya bg MC hari Isnin. Ubat amik kat luar.
Me: Ok.

Then, abah call (kul 4).

Abah: Hang kuar gi maner hari nih.
Me: Tak gi maner pun. Dok umah jer.
Abah: Awat...hang demam ke?
Me: Ishk ..tau2 jer abah nih. A’ah..Demam.
Abah: Dah jumper doctor? Makan ubat tuh. Dah demam baru nak dok umah diam2.
Me: Biasa jer..kalo 5 hari lg tak ok..jumper doktor balik.
Abah: Ooo..makan ubat. Batuk teruk tak?
Me: Tak leh tido nih, dok batuk jer.. (hehhe...ngada2 sikit)
Abah: Ha..tutup kipas.pakai baju tebal2.baru tak batuk.
Me: OK bos..

Then...mak lak call..kul 7pm

Bonda: Hang jangan minum ais. Hang jangan makan bender2 bergoreng. Hang jangan itu jangan ini..Minum air banyak2..makan antibiotik tu..doktor ader bg tak..kalo tak bagi..mintak..pakai ubat balm..letak kat dada,bile rasa panas takder la nak batuk....( n ader la lagi tips2 yg lain..tak ingat dah...)

Me: Ok.

Mlm..abah call lagik kul 10pm..

Abah: Camner? Hang ok dah?
Me: Blum.
Abah: Takper rehat. Esok mc kan
Me: A’ah

Yang terbaru tadi..kul 8 am..

Bonda: Hang keje ke hari nih?
Me: A’ah
Bonda: Ishk..macam maner tuh hang gi keje? Ramai orang kat komuter sesak nafas nanti.
Me: Tak..masuk keje lambat
Bonda: Ha’ah masuk lambat sikit. Susah hang nanti sesak nafas.
Me: Ok dah nih.Batuk jer.
Bonda: Ha..ok.Pakai ubat balm tuh.Ubat jaga.Makan ikut waktu.
Me: Ok.

So, clear bukan different of doctor and parents. Walaupun hanya demam biasa, tapi mak abah still bagi first class nyer layanan kat aku. Macam kanak-kanak lak. Hehehe..Jauh dimata dekat ditelinga…oops..n di hati. Now tell me how will I not miss them after all this? Hhehehe..

Enchanted

I watched this movie together with my colleagues-Hasnul n Ayu. While our statuses were on the bench, we are ‘free’ all the times. So it is wasted if the time did not manage correctly, therefore, we decide to watched Enchanted. Actually, planning had been made from last week, but since I had another project, the planning keep postponed until the day had come (I mean last Tuesday). However, planning are not as expected also because not many people joined me...coz whether they are on leave that day or had watched enchanted before.

Enchanted…from all feedbacks that I get..all luv this story. Me too..I keep giggling all the times watched this movie. At first, I thought this movie will be like the other fairy tales movie. Well, happily-ever-after concept... about a girl who dreams of her true love, come across to obstacles n then find the real true one at last.. Hmm, Enchanted still use the same concept but in other creative way. The combination of live action and traditional animation make the movie so exciting to watch. Part that I like most- Giselle sing “That How You Know” in the park together with other spontaneously musician.

KIOKU

KIOKU event was held yesterday at Tasek Titiwangsa. It was sport event for OKU people. A lot of OKU from various organizations take part in this event. I reached there as early at 8am; part of my voluntary work for KIOKU. Just helping with the others when needed. Simple as it is.

As there are nothing much to do, me and my friends take a walk first. I’m never went to Tasik Titiwangsa as early like this before, and being there at that morning make me amazed because there are too many people there. I mean not OKU people. There are groups of Chinese folks do lioness dancing or poco-poco. People jogs, play badminton, has a simple camping near the lake, riding horses and of course ride on eye of Malaysia.

From the events itself, there are few games for visitors, exhibition, bundle selling from civil servant international, clowns and also a few animals which ‘specially’ bring there like parrots, goat and deer. Hehee..I also take pic with those parrots, buy book which is only rm2 and riding horse which is only rm1.50 for one round.

During lunch time, me and the other volunteers guide OKU to be sat in the food hall. Just to make sure that non OKU not being in there, helping OKU with the food and make sure everything is perfect. Well, it’ hard actually to ask their kid/wife/husband/siblings to eat at the other places coz the food provided only for OKU. Instead of that, we also have a chat with those OKU.Feel happy to be there.

A few weeks ago, I went to BP Lab Center at Kajang. It is just near from my home. FYI, BP Diagnostic Centre (BPDC) is the first innovative ‘one stop”non hospital based .Here, BPDC provide medical consultation, examination, treatment, specialist referral, health screening n various health programmed. Among DC series such as general blood screening, tumor marker, other test include lung function test, bone mineral density test, stress test,anti HAV, AIDS AB,etc.

Actually, I didn’t notice that this center exist in our country. Until I get a coupon discount of BPDC. It is a general blood test which consists of 44 types of test. The cost only take rm90 compare to the exactly price; maybe rm100 and above. As I’m also concern with my health, of course I would like to try it.

Those 44 types of test include:
a) Haematology Examination- which shows what types of blood I have and my blood is enough to be donating to the others.
b)Renal function test n liver function test- which is ok..no prob
c) Other such as blood glucose, calcium and urine-also considered as normal for me
d) Lipids studies –shows that I have high good cholesterol and high bad cholesterol. So the rate still considered normal for me. But, I still be advised to have more exercise regularly.kekkeke…Walk from commuter Bank Negara to my office. I think that can be considered exercise..
e)Hepatitis B Screening – hmmm..this is interesting one.
Doctor: Your Hepatitis B Screening shows that you are non reactive to HBsAg and also Anti-HBs.
Me: Meaning..?
Doctor: Don’t have antibody for hepatitis B n also not carrier. You not take this vaccine before?
Me: Erm..Only have those injections during my school time.
Doctor: You need to take this vaccine.
Me: What happen if I’m not taking it?
Doctor: Well. Nothing much. If you are married to man who are carrier of Hepatitis B you easily get infected as well. It infected slowly to your kidney and your liver at first. And then it turns to be cancer.
Me: O.k. I take it.

I would like to try other package next time; tumour marker perhaps. It cost about rm500, which make me decide to wait next year. Why? Because I already used all my claim this year lor..

Faritz. My nephew. He only 4 years old but he much more bigger than any other boy who is 6 years old..Look at the pic, and you get what I mean. My job everyday send Faritz to school; Kristal. Sometimes at 730..8..830..Depend to me actually when I will get wakeup..

So yesterday, was graduation day for Kristal..Faritz take part as dancer. He so cute with his costume..so shining.Well, he not graduated yet ya as he only 4 years old.
My bro in law and sis need to hide first at 5pm..they said that they are going to somewhere else..and then at 6pm I send Faritz to Metro Pescot Inn; venue where the graduation day was held..This hide and seek game need because Faritz will do not want to participate if he saw his parents in front of him. Why I said so? Because this thing had happen before..so we learn from experience ya..

Therefore, while Faritz make his performance, my sis and bro find a strategic place to sit- where they can see Fariz and Fariz can’t see them. While me, doing my work as photographer. After finished with his performance, then I bring him to his parents. He so glad when he see them and u know what he said then.. ”Ibu..abang tired. Abang nak eat McDonald”. ;)

Hati Malaya

Dah lama tak tengok wayang. Then kali nih kuar ngan member2 watch Hati Malaya. Actually tak plan pun. Macam bacer buku teks tapi divisualisasikan. Okla good movie..sumer orang patut tengok movie nih. Tapi daripada kutipan, jelas tak ramai yang menonton cerita ini..Ramai yang prefer tengok Otai agaknya daripada Hati Malaya. Jelas menunjukkan yang orang ramai pergi menonton wayang untuk berhibur dan tidak begitu menggemari elemen berat seperti sejarah yang cuba dipaparkan oleh Hati Malaya ini. Malah masa pergi hari tu pun, dua line seat jer yang penuh..

Aku ibaratkan Dato’ Onn seperti Tun Mahathir. Both genius dan pandang jauh ke hadapan.Tapi mungkin disebabkan keadaan pada masa itu, pemikiran Dato Onn tidak diterima. Maka, tempatnya digantikan dengan Tunku Abdul Rahman yang diibaratkan seperti bidan terjun dalam movie ini.Dato Onn digambarkan dengan sikap yang berani, ada ideologinya sendiri,bijak dan tegas. Tunku Abdul Rahman memimpin dengan menggunakan pendekatan yang lembut dan perbincangan bersama-sama ahlinya..bak slogan tv9..dekat dihati...hehehe..

Hmm..entah naper..aku rasa seperti sejarah berulang pada masa kini. Dato Onn seperti Tun Mahathir dan Tunku Abdul Rahman seperti Pak Lah. After Pak Lah, maybe Najib..well, selepas Tunku Abdul Rahman..Tun Razak..:)

Both pelakon yang memegang watak Dato Onn dan Tunku Abdul Rahman merupakan pelakon teater. Padanla..perfect sungguh diorg berlakon. Hoho..rasanya kedua-dua mereka ini lebih ’diingati’ berbanding watak lain lakonan Maya Karin, Rusdi Ramli dan lain-lain.

Movie ini banyak ’diselamatkan’ oleh syarikat-syarikat swasta, sekolah dan kolej-kolej yang membeli tiket wayang. Jika tidak,mungkin lagi parah kutipannya. Promosi pun banyak difokuskan kepada target group tersebut. Sebabnya mungkin kerana mereka tahu, jika tidak dipromosikan cara sedemikian, movie ini akan totally fail di wayang. Apa yang menyedihkan, walaupun tiket wayang dibeli secara bulk..tiada siapa yang datang menontonnya.

Ini diceritakan sendiri oleh kawanku..sedang diorang tengah melepak...hehehe..sory guys..pekerja GSC Mid Valley datang tanya nak watch movie free tak..Movie aper? U know it..;) Ditangannya penuh dengan tiket lain..mungkin cuba untuk mencari yang lain agaknya.. And of course my friends dengan senang hati menerima offer tersebut..

Taman Negara ENdau RoMpin,Johor

Hoho…tak sangka dapat gi taman negara nih..dulu pernah try nak buat trip ke sini..tapi masing2 ader jer alasan..and at last…lupakan saja..:(

But then tetiber..bro nazri call ask whether nak join tak trip gi taman negara ngan geng2 die..aper lagi…menjerit-jeritla kat phone nak ikut..so together with erme, berangkat la kami kesana pada 9/11 – 11/11. Pagi tuh datang keje siap dgn dressing lengkap ngan kasut sukan yang kata erme ‘berkilau-kilauan’..beg besar…dah siap2 pakai sweater lak tuh dalam opis..konon sejuk…

So bertolak dari Dengkil kul 8 mlm..singgah jap kat Bongek..n then Segamat..dalam erti kata lain makan dan makan lagi…(nasib baik free ;) ) Sampai kul 2 lebih..tapi tempat sepatutnye kitorg bermalam ditutup…(hmm..musykil lak..naper yer? Kene post mortem nih..) Maka, terpaksalah bermalam di surau…lantakla..janji leh tido..memang sesuka hati betul nih..

Kul 7 am..lepas makan roti canai n teh o panas..kitrg bertolak ke taman negara. Kul 830 lebih mcm tuh..lepak2 dengar penerangan dari guide situ.. Then..bermula perjalanan naik ke atas..off road pun ader la nak dekat Sejam lebih..nasib baik 4 wheel..kalo yang lain tak dapat imagine camner..huh..riak pulak..kekeke

Sampai kat atas..masak-masak..makan-makan..pasang khemah..mandi manda..tangkap ikan..aktiviti wajib-tangkap gambar

Part yang paling best sekali bile hiking keesokan harinya.Sebelum tuh ridsect dulu kat kaki supaya pacat ke lintah ke tak naik..pakai insect repellent supaya nyamuk atau seangkatan dengannya tak gigit..Dah hiking sejam lebih..sampaila kat air terjun..aktiviti wajib-tangkap gambar dan mandi manda. Nak kata mencabar..hmm..rasanya lebih kurang la macam tempat

lain..standard la hiking macam tuh..Kepenatan la jugak..

Then..dalam perjalanan balik..kitorg tak terus turun ke khemah..kitorg try tubing. Air ader part yang deras ader part yang biasa jer..Hmm..rasanya part deras la best..barula thrill!! Time tuh dok terlanggar batu jer..takpun berlanggar ngan tubing orang lain.. So, tubing dari situ ke tempat khemah..agak-agak setengah jam gak..

Then..at last..kelam kabutla berkemas..makan lagi..buka khemah..kemas barang.Kul 9 dah sampai KL balik. Dekat sane tak terasa penat..sampai rumah jer terus sakit belakang ngan sakit kaki..penangan tubing la nih..hihihihi.Tapi lantakla..sebab I’m really enjoy this trip..:)

Hmmm…next trip…cave exploration!!

Teater Muzikal P.Ramlee

Erm..pergi 24 okt lepas..lepas kerje terus gih..ishk..hampeh tul aku nih..orang lain pakai baju cantik2..kebaya pun ader sih..aku seperti biasa..sempoi..memang la out of topic..

Teater nih mengisahkan riwayat hidup suka duka Pramlee daripada nobody to somebody..dan daripada kekasih pertama hinggalah isteri ketiganya Saloma. Waaa...sesaper jer leh jatuh cinta ngan Sean Ghazi time tuh.Best!! And sumer bebudak lelaki pun jatuh cinta ngan Saloma (merujuk kepada kata Arif ;) ..

Sebelum intermission agak boring. Part bercinta ngan Azizah (Dato Ct) n Junaidah..After break kira-kira setengah jam, baru best. Start bab dengan Norizan (Melissa Saila). Serius..Melissa Saila get the award that nite. Maybe because part-part lain more to sopan santun dan berbudi bahasa ..tibe-tibe part Melissa Saila..wah…’active’ sikit…hehehhe..
Saloma lakonan Liza Hanim. Dia betul-betul macam jelmaan Saloma. Suaranya, lenggoknya,manjanya..

Antara part lain yang enjoy tengok ialah part paparazzi..so cute..kirenya part paparazzi nih macam part iklan lak..pertukaran dari satu babak ke babak lain..Pentas..kostum..hampir semua adalah perfect..

Memang puas tonton teater nih. Best. Mungkin tak serancak teater PGL but both teater are different kind of teater..tak boleh nak disamakan mana yang lebih best. Balik agak lewat malam tuh kul 1220 pm. Ingatkan nak tangkap gambar bersama-sama..tapi dah tak larat nak menunggu.terus balik..tangkap gambar kat poster jadikla..:(

The Apprentice

I always luv to watch the apprentice. And now I have watched the season 6 of The Apprentice. Thanks to my colleague who download the series.
The new apprentice is a female. Stefani…Go girls power! I like Heidi, Kristen and Steffani also. Each of them had the potential..but of course, Stefani is the best. I think she was the only apprentice winner who never been a project manager along the job interview. Well, can’t blame her also because in this new season; if the project managers win, he/she will be remaining as a project manager until he/she loose. And James kept winning since he being a project manager. But in term of positive side, people still can see Stefani capabilities and she’s so shining although she is not project manager.
From apprentice 1-6, I notice that those apprentice which had been hired by Trump have a common. They work with their brain. They are not type of person who will blame other person if they lose. They are silent beginning on the show but kept progressing to move forward.
I believe that in term of quality leadership, you are not need to be very “busy” to show other people that you do your job. You are not need to speak “loudly” every time you do your task. You not need to move around and give instructions all around. Leaders think a lot and were practical and flexible all the time. Although in certain circumstances, they might not be the leader, but we still can see they shine.

PERTABALAN AGONG

Today is a public holiday… Hari Pertabalan Agong..But unfortunately..no hooray for me coz I need to go for a work. And a little bit frustation, when my team lead announce that we don’t have our testing today..:(

From all former Agong, Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin will be the youngest Agong in Malaysia. I believe he will bring something new.

And I am right.

From today The Star, “King to make changes at the palace”, stated that

“The move has begun with a revamp of the palace administration itself, with almost 80% of the senior officials having been replaced with those handpicked by the new King.”

There would be no more late nights for those who attended events graced by Tuanku Mizan. Such functions must start by 8.30pm and end by 10.30pm.
The Tuanku wants to be fair to the people, and also to government officials who have to carry out their duties. The monarch has given orders to the more than 200 palace officials to be more efficient and “people-friendly.” “Tuanku has asked me to implement a special manpower training programme for them, and also to upgrade certain posts….As for those who cannot perform up to our expectations, they will have to leave”.

Weird why I highlight those words? YM me...I give you the answer.

Child sexual abuse

Wow...serius topic is it? Child sexual abuse…Do u know how much statistics of child sexual abuse in Malaysia? It is between 20%-40%..not so high in term of percentage but it should be no percentage at all!

It is so poor with those kids who face this kind of abuse. Berat mata memandang berat lagi bahu dipikul. How about their future? How they can be happy? How can they get their dignity back?

And our most hot topic is regarding Nurul Huda. Who can forget about this young girl who had been raped and then murdered..Thanks to Adibah Noor which dedicated the song “Terlalu istimewa” to this poor girl..Read the lyrics..it really has a deep meaning.

And now we all are worried about Mohd Nazrin who had been lost from Sogo two weeks ago. Speaking of Mohd Nazrin, some of us will think that he should be ok..he is a boy..nothing happen to him..Well.. Child sexual abuse can be happen to any kids, girl or boys-no doubt about it. Hopefully, he can be found safely.

Back to the topic..last week I had attended a seminar regarding Protect and Save The Children. Of course.. a seminar..u know..talk and talk..and I also want to fall asleep as well.. But, I believe I gain something from the seminar.

Before this, I never realize that our children are open to the sexual abuse. In our norm, especially Malay society..we are not open to talk about sex to kids..parents never discuss about it with their kids..But, if you think clearly..we are not ashamed to speak using bad words..therefore why need to be ashamed to talk about fact. Here, I agreed 100% if sexual education is include in primary school co-curriculum education. Let’s them get a better view of it through formal education – a truth about it- what can be done and what not –rather than they watch it from movie, internet, dvd, etc. They will have a misconception about it.

And why do I say that sexual education is important? It is for them - they will understand what it is look alike. They will know that there are no one can touch their private part. Nobody!! I think that it is so poor that these kids had been sexual abuse just because at first, they don’t know anything about it. They even don’t realize that they had been raped actually. What they know is that they feel pain and they don’t like it. Terrible isn’it?

When talk about sexual abuse education..we are not just inform them about sexual thing. We discuss about the offenders too. Many kids when we ask how they think what offender look alike. Their answers will something like..”Pak cik yang muka garang, selekeh, badan besar”..haha..looks scary la..Well, actually nope. The offenders can come from people all around you..The more sweet they are, the more chance he/she can “get” you.

In our society also, basically we hear.. when parents want to go out and leave their children at home, they will leave a note saying that , “If Pakcik Ali datang, bagi dia ni..If ader org datang nak hantar barang, amik jer. Or nanti ader orang datang nak amik barang, mak dah tinggalkan kat atas peti sejuk, bagi kat die.” Don’t you realize that this thing can be the first steps to bad things happened (small thing lead a major thing happen). In oversea, there are laws regarding children protection. If there are no parents at home, that person although had been give permission by children to enter at their home, they still can’t do so. They can be sued - if at that time they enter to that house, anything happen to those kids. Malaysia supposedly follows these laws. And parents also, from now stop leaving that message to their children.

Well..that’s from me now. Hope there will be no “Nurul Huda” victim again in our society.

I learn mandarin language during my university time..the word that I most remembered..

Ni hao ma?
Wo hen hao.
Ni ne?
Wo ye hen hao.
NI qu nali?
Wo yao qu cesuo..

I remembered those word the most coz i always use those sentences in my daily life..well, here is a tips if u talk to chinese friends..u can use sentences above..
However..if they ask u more than that..u just answer..”I’m not good in mandarin”..and they will said that it’s ok..and waa..u know how to speak mandarin..then…u can proud for a few minutes..

Haha..from 4 semester I only remember those 6 lines…the other lines..duibuqi..wo bu qi tao..very clever yer..;)

Then.. I also have French language..the word that I most remember..

Last Friday, was a public holiday ..so I’m not working. I plan to go to petaling jaya in the afternoon to meet Mr. Simon. Before I’m going out…I have instinct to bring my umbrella..but I refuse to coz..malulah nak pegang payung..my payung is huge one like makcik2 selalu pegang..then, from putra tmn jaya I take cap..i give him address but he can’t find the location.

For me..it’s very tired today..but it’s not really bad day coz I enjoy this day also..i am clumsy person so I take this day as my another episode of laugh…furthermore..laughter is a best medicine rite? Me n my friend keep laughing all the day..hahah..well..bad thing actually not bad..u can make it as a humor if you want to..it is you who decide what do you want it to be..whether you want it to be Ur bad day or …? Well..give me a word please..:)
